Birdhouses……refined.

If you have already read our earlier post on ‘recycled bird houses’ you will see where we have gone with this little flight of fancy.

We begin doing things for fun, and to use up old materials, but the bird houses became a bit of a passion. We have had so much fun making these, and it has made our walks on the beach a quest to find that perfect piece of wood that has drifted ashore to inspire us.  Old barns and buildings seem to also provide a source for distressed wood and old roofing which really make a birdhouse fit into a rustic environment.

In order to continue with this fun, inspiring and environment-friendly hobby, we have decided to offer these ‘homes for birds’ for sale at our Farmgate this year, alongside our garden plants and hopefully fresh produce!
